To my lovely customers and friends.

During the last 2 months I have had time to reflect on the business and how the future looks.

At the start of lockdown we continued trading by selling stock items and fresh fruit and veg. This helped provide a service to the local community but recently there’s been a noticeable decrease in trade and the likelihood of new regulations for cafes, means the green kitchen isn’t going to be a viable option anymore. So I’m sad to say it’s not good news.

I’ve made the tough decision to permanently close the green kitchen from June 1st. and cease trading.

I have really, really enjoyed the last 5 years, it’s been hard work but I’ve been fortunate to have employed amazing staff, who along with wonderful customers, have become friends. I am so thankful for the experience and for the support from you all, but it is now time to move on and start a new chapter.

We will be open next Thursday, Friday and Saturday – selling the usual fresh fruit and veg for the last time, (usual prices) along with stock items, (which will be reduced to clear)

Thank you again for being part of life at the green kitchen.

– Heather xx
